Early Years - Pearson Edexcel Reception Pathway

A two-year start for ages 3 to 5

Early Years learners at Hayl International School

Pearson Edexcel Reception and Early Years is a two-year programme for children aged 3 to 5. At Hayl International School, this stage gives every child a warm, structured start to school life while helping teachers understand the level each learner is working at and how learning progresses over time. The programme is built around three Pearson Edexcel curriculum areas: English, Maths, and World Around Us. In class, children listen, speak, count, compare, explore, create, and play through carefully planned activities that build confidence, communication, number sense, curiosity, independence, and strong learning habits. This stage lays the foundation for the Pearson iProgress pathway. Learners finish Early Years ready to move confidently into Key Stage 1 and the wider iPrimary curriculum.
